Natural Mahogany Starfire modified by Rick Turner while he was at Alembic ; patterned on the original Casady mod - yes 2 full superfilters & god knows what else on board!

This is a Prototype Epiphone Casady SOLD

I showed Jack a pic of this bass - he told me that Epi made up several different bass configurations for him to try while he was designing the bass. He called them "rejects". So either I have a reject or a prototype - either way this bass stands on its own :-) It surfaced in Nashville.

No signature on the headstock; different pickup; a six position varitone switch that is not connected to anything.

Narrower nut width - more like a Jazz; smaller headstock.

Alembic Custom Small Body

Built Dec. 2003 - Technically an Essence, according to the serial #, but I defy anyone to find any essence in it :-).

Short Scale, side LEDs, custom narrow neck, neck pickup placed closer to neck; Europa Electronics, Vermillion top & core. Nut measurement is 1.5 inches and tapers up to a very thin 2 inches at the 12th fret.

It plays like buttah, sounds like the God of Thundah!
